He's still alive folks.

I can't believe it's been this long since I've posted something on this blog. For those of you who thought that I may have given up, well I haven't. Here's some proof that I have been working on stuff. But sadly I kind of got away from Duck and Cover related things lately. Well now I'm ready to get back to work. Marty and myself just got back from Chicago Comic Con and we had a blast there. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and those who hung out with us at the show(you know who you are). Being around so many artistic and creative people have now got me chomping at the bit to get some stuff done. Blog posts should be coming on a more regular basis now. Thanks for sticking with us everyone.

For my buddy Dan

Did this for my buddy Dan Nokes' collected volume of his twelve issue mini series "The Paranormals. I have to say I really appreciate Dan's patience in waiting for me to finish this. His deadline was fast approaching and I hadn't even started yet. Luckily I caught a break when the printing was pushed back about five days. Whew! Hope he digs it. Now finally I can get back to some "Mere Mortal" stoof.

Mondo Lucha

This is the next Hydeouts flyer. Gonna keep this short 'cause I was up pretty late last night trying to knock this one out.

holy crap a new post!

These seem to be my bread and butter these days. This flyer is for the bassist of the Hydeouts Jeff, who also plays in a band called The Rats. If you like rock and roll I definitely recommend checking them out. Musically they're a little different than the Hydeouts, but just as awesome. Jason of the Hydeouts actually came up with the idea for this flyer one in the parking lot of Sobo Pizza(see last Hydeouts flyer) after one of their shows. Hope I was able to pull it off.

Valhalla

This is the image for an upcoming gig flyer for a band called "The Force". They're a cover band from Virginia Beach, VA and the guitarist Steve owns a great record store called Skinnies, which I frequent often to pick up hard to find cd's and my slow growing vinyl collection.

MMMMMM...beer!

Did this for a friend of mine on X-Box Live. He brews his own pale ale, and sent some to my brother and myself. So I told him I'd go ahead and make a label and we came up with the name together. Here you go Craven, can't wait to try it out.

Hydeouts flyer

Jason, the lead singer told that I didn't have to worry about doing a flyer. I then replied to him that I'd just whip up something simple, so...ta da!
